This feature helps automate the process for when owners become late. These events are triggered based on the number of days the unit is “late. These rules include “late, pre-lien, and lien” events. Navigate to the late & lien rules page by going to dashboard>tools>late/lien rules. From here you will see a column with the three status of Late, Pre-Lien, and Lien. Under these categories click on the "add rule" link. This will take you to the page where you can add a rule to the software based on how many days behind the owner is. For example you would first set up how many days past due you want this rule to start. Second you would choose whether you want a notification to be sent with this rule. You can choose a notification template or create new. Then you can also choose to send the notification as email or text message. Lastly you would choose what fee you wanted associated with this rule. To do this click the "Add Fee" button and create the fee name, fee type, amount, and click on save. You can take these same steps for all three status. Once you have created the rule, the sotware will automatically add the fee invoice to the unit under billing history and send the notification to the owner based on the rule settings. https://support.easyhoa.com/late-lien-rules/
