Late & Lien Rules

What does this feature do?

This feature helps automate the process for when owners become late. These are events that are triggered based on a number of days that the unit is “late. These rules include “late, pre-lien, and lien” events

This screenshot shows an example of how it could look and be set up for an HOA. In this example, the first event happens if the owner is 7 days late, and what fee types are subject to the fees (this is showing dues & special assessments). Once the 7th day passes, the owner would receive a $10 late fee on their account automatically, as well as an email and text notification. Similar events would happen if they still hadn’t paid their due at 30, & 60 days of being late.

If you click on the “Add rule” button you can set up a new event. The customizable fields are.

  • What fee type categories are subject to this rule
  • Number of days past due
  • What notification template you want to send
  • The delivery options: Email, Text
  • Ability to charge a fee $ or %
