Help CenterWe built a tool to allow the HOA to automatically generate a late fee and notification to the owner if the violation is not taken care of. You will find this feature in Tools > Late/Lein Rules.
We built this in a way so that 2 different scenarios can happen:
1. If the violation has a "violation fee" that doesn't get paid, then a rule can trigger a "late fee" on the violation fee. It will get triggered on the original late fee that was set it the violation.
2. If the violation remains open for a "# of days" then a late fee and notification to the owner can be generated after the number of grace period days has passed. That fee is passed on the days open.
