The "text" page is located under the "email, text & phone" main menu page. Click on the "text" page located under the "email, text & phone" main menu. The text page is where you can see all text messages that have been sent to the main HOA number. For the text messaging feature to work in the software you must first make sure that your HOA has set up the phone number feature located on the "phone" page. Once the phone number has been setup you can receive and send text messages inside the software. On the "text" page you will see down below and towards the left a list of all the text message threads. You will see a green line to the left of the message you are currently viewing. To the right you will see the message thread this is where you can see texts that have come in to the software and then any responses to those texts. At the bottom you will see a field called "type your message" with a "send" button out to the right. This where you would type and send a new message for that thread. At the top of this "text" page you will see a button at the top left called "general texts" this the page you are defaulted to when you first come to the main text page and where you can see a list of all the text message threads below. To the right of this "general text" button there is a "mass text history" button. When you click on this mass text history button it takes you to a page a history where you can see all mass texts that have been sent in the past. On this mass text history page you can also compose a mass text message by clicking on the "send mass text" button at the top right. When you click on this "send mass text" button it takes you to the mass text page where you can see a list of all owners that you can send a text to. You can filter this list by selecting a different group from the filter dropdown at the top left of this page. On this mass text page you will see a checkbox out to the left of each recipient that you can check or uncheck. You will notice that any owners that don't have a cell phone will be greyed out. This is because you can't send a text to those owners that don't have a cell phone on file. Once you select all the owners you want to send the mass text to, scroll down to the bottom of the page, compose your text, and then click the "sent text" button at the bottom right. To the right of this "mass text history" button there is a "spam" button. If you click on this spam button it will take you to the text spam page. This would be the page where texts were sent to spam as opposed to showing up in your general texts inbox. To the right of this "spam" button on the text page in the middle of the page at the top you will see a search field. This where you can search across text messages if you are looking for a specific message. The right of this search field on the text page there is a "compose new text" button. When you click on this compose new text button you will see a box pop up where you choose the owner phone you want to send the message to, you can add a second phone number to send to as well manually by typing in the phone number in the "or text other phone" field and than at the bottom you will see a place to type your message and hit the "send" button. You can close this box without sending a message by clicking the "X" at the top right of the popout box. The the right of this "compose new text" button on the text page is a "compose mass text" button. When you click on this it takes you to the "mass text history" page where you can choose the owners you want to send a mass text to, compose your message the bottom, and click send. Below this "compose mass text" button, there is a "Call owner" owner button, which will call the owner whose text message thread you are on, and a red exclamation point icon where you can mark the text message you are on as spam. If you mark the text message as spam then any texts received from that number will be sent to the spam page and not the general text page.
