The reports page located under the accounting main menu is where you can access your financial statements and reports. When you first come to the reports page located under accounting you will see a section called Financial Statements with the profit & loss (income statement) report and the balance sheet report. Underneath the financial statements section is a section called "detailed reporting" under this detailed reporting section is the budget vs actuals report and the account transactions (general ledger) report. To load any of these reports simply click on the name of the report. When you are on the reports page located under accounting and click on the profit and loss (income statement) report you will be take to the profit and loss report page. On this profit and loss report page at the top right are two export buttons where you can export this report to a csv or pdf. Underneath these export buttons you will see where you can change the date range of the report, as well as change the order of the report. If you would like to compare the current profit and loss statement to a prior period click on the link called "compare to a prior period" and you will see another date range tool pop up where you can select the date range you want to compare against. Once you have entered your date range and chose the order you will click on the "update report" button towards the bottom right. Moving down this profit and loss report page you will see the total income - operating expenses = net profit figures for the date range you ran the report for. Right below these figures and to the left you will see three titles that allows you to change the way you view this report. The first title you can click on is called "summary" this basically totals the figures by parent account. To the right of the summary title is a title called "details", if you click on this details title it will show the parent and sub account totals. And then finally to the right of this details title is a title called "monthly" which breaks the profit and loss down by month. On the reports page under the accounting main menu under financial statements you will see a report called "Balance" sheet. Again you can see that you may export this report to a csv or pdf file by clicking on those export buttons at the top right. Below the export buttons you can select the date range you want to run, choose whether you want to compare to a prior period, and then click on "update report". This will create the report based on the date range you selected above. Below the update report button and to the left you will see a title called "summary" this again is totaling your accounts by parent accounts. To the right of this title is a title called "details" if you click on details then it will expand this report to show all parent account and sub account totals. On the reports page under the accounting main menu, under the detailed reporting section is a report called "budget vs actuals" This is the same report you can access from the budgets page. Also under this detailed reporting section is a report called "general ledger". The general ledger report works the same as the other financial reports in as you can export them to csv or pdf, filter them by date range at the top, click on update report and then view the report below. The General Ledger (GL) is a central feature of accounting software that shows the complete record of all financial transactions for a business. It is the foundation of the accounting system, summarizing all transactions into individual accounts to create the business's financial statements. At the bottom of the accounting reports page is a report you can click on called bank account deposit report.
