How to Suspend a User from Posting in the Community Forum

If you need to prevent someone from making posts in your community forum, you can suspend their forum access from the Config Users page.

1. Go to Tools > Website > Community Forum.

2. Click Config Users in the upper-right corner.

3. Find the person in the Community Forum Users list. You can use Search users to locate them by name or email.

4. Check the box next to their name.

5. Select a Reason at the bottom of the page. You can also add more information in Details (optional).

6. Click Suspend selected.

The user’s status will change to Suspended. You can use the Suspended filter to find suspended users later.

Restore a user’s posting access

Return to Config Users, select the suspended user’s checkbox, and click Unsuspend selected. A reason is not required to unsuspend a user.
