How to Issue a Credit or Debit Card Refund
This article will explain how to issue a refund to an owner in an HOA.
Why issue a refund to an owner?
This may be due to the owner moving out of the neighborhood and he did not notify the board or the manager of the HOA with enough time and the EasyHOA software billed his billing account for his monthly, quarterly, bi-annually, or annual due.

Note: The EasyHOA software does not have a button that you can click on to issue a refund on a payment that you have posted in the EasyHOA software as a “check” payment. Check payments that have been cashed and cleared in your bank and are now showing up in whatever accounting environment you use(i.e Quickbooks) are handled differently than the way a credit/debit card refund would occur.
