How to Create a New Violation

Creating a new violation in your HOA is a crucial aspect of maintaining the community's standards and ensuring that all residents abide by the established rules and regulations. Violations can encompass a wide range of issues, from property maintenance to conduct-related matters. The introduction to this process should be clear and informative.

In this article, you will learn on how to create a new violation by following the instructions below:

On your HOA Dashboard,

  1. Click on Violations on the left side of your dashboard.
  2. Click on Create New Violation.
  • Type in the Violation Name.
  • Select what type of violation.
  • Type in the violation details.
  • Choose to which unit the violation is for.
  • Select the owner to whom you want to send the violation.
  • Type in if there’s a fee amount.
  • Fee name is pre-set to “Violation Fee” but can be changed.
  • Select the due date.
  • Select the estimated completion date.
  • You can add file if you have photos or any attachments.
  • You can add Internal Notes if there is any.

You can toggle Send Notification with this Violation if you want to send it via email. Then it will prompt you to compose an email.

Select a template. (optional)

Select owner/s to notify.

Click on Create and Send.

  1. If you did not toggle Send Notification with this Violation, click on Create Violation.
