The documents page of the EasyHOA software is located in the main menu when logged in to the software. If you click on the documents in the main menu you will be taken to the documents page. The documents page is where you can create and manage folders and files for the HOA. When the EasyHOA software is first setup for a new HOA the the documents page will have the following pre-loaded folders: Agendas & Minutes, Docs, Financials, Governing Documents, Insurance, Maps & Plats, Reserve Study, Welcome Packet. The table that lists these folders has the following column headings: Order - this is how you can re-order the folders just click the three lines and drag up or down the folder you want to move, Name, Created date, share w/owner, shared w/website, No. files, No. subfolders, actions. At the of this table you will see a search bar that can come in handy when you are trying to find a specific file that has been uploaded to this documents page. To the right of this search bar is a button called "add folder" This is how you would add a new folder if you wanted one that was not already created when the software was first setup. Any of these folders on the documents tab can be shared with owners meaning when an owner logs in to their owner account they would see that same folder and its contents. Or they can be shared with the website. If the folder is shared with the website this means that when you add the widget called "HOA documents" from the website page then anyone on the website would be able to view the contents of the folder. Out to the far right of this table that lists the folders underneath the actions column you will see three small dots that can be clicked on. If you click on these three small dots a menu pops up where you can delete or edit that folder. If you click on edit you will be able to edit the name and then toggle on or off the share w/owners setting and the share w/website setting. For example if you want to share a folder and its contents with owners find the folder you want to share, click on those three buttons out to the right, click edit, and then toggle the setting called "share w/owners" on. When you are on this main documents page you can click on the name of the folder to drill down and open this folder to see what is inside. When you open up a folder you will see the files listed below with the following column headings: order, name, created date, share w/owner, shared w/website, No. files, No. subfolders, actions. At the top of the page there is a search bar still as well as an "add subfolder" button, "add file" button.
