Automatic Templates

Templates

What are Templates?

Templates are automatically generated emails or text messages that can be sent to your owners based off of a triggered event. For example… If an owner makes a payment, they can be notified with a receipt via email/text.

What events trigger the templates to send?

Currently the software is configured to send templates based on the following events.

  • When a payment is made
  • When a recurring payment fails
  • When Dues are 10 days prior to the due date
  • When a new user owner account is created
  • When a new recurring payment method is saved for a unit.

How do I edit templates and turn them on or off?

To edit a template simply navigate to the templates page and click on the name of the template that you would like to edit. From there you can change the content in the content box for the email content or the text content.

If you turn the template on or off. Be aware that this is a global setting that affects all of your individual owners.

*To turn them off for only specific owners you will need to navigate to the owners page and find the “Notification preferences” and from there disable the template.

Custom Templates

Custom templates can be created at the bottom of this page and can be used to email to everyone (from the Inbox>email>compose tool)

These custom templates can also be used for the “late to Lien” settings. Which can be setup to be triggered from “Days late” events.

*Placeholders can be used with any of these templates to pull in unit, or owner specific information for when you send these templates out.
